Wi-fi problems

    If your using Wi-Fi there could be problems, connect xbox directly can overcome some problems that Wi-Fi might have and be faster and sercure without problems of buffering.

    Wi-fi failure

    Hello!

    We have problems with our Xbox one console. It looses the wi-fi network connection although the Wi-fi is working just fine.

    When it looses the wi-fi, it can't find the network again. We have to put it back to default and do the wi-fi installation all over again.

    This can happen when starting the console or during use of it. It happens quite often.

    What's wrong?

    Xbox One X disconnects from internet every 15-30 minutes

    I would hard wire it with Ethernet cable and see if problem continues... If it doesnt you know you have connection issues with Wi-Fi.... I had to upgrade my Wi-Fi to make it faster to stop this problem....

    Do you know any friends that have a Wi-Fi router? If you do, you can try to connect your console to XBL at their place using Wi-Fi. This can help isolate the problem.

    If you are only being kicked offline when using wireless and it works fine when wired then the problem is likely to be Wi-Fi interference.



    To fix this you would need to go into your routers settings using a web browser and then change the Wi-Fi channel.



    I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Xbox kept disconnecting but laptops and ps3 worked fine. Changing the Wi-Fi cannel fixed it.



    If you post the make and model of your router someone might be able to give you instructions on how to change the Wi-Fi channel.
