Whys isn’t my Xbox voice chat working?

I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

Check the following steps:

Groups allow you to meet and chat with your friends through the Xbox console. You can do it with just one friend or with a maximum of seven friends.

Connect with friends in group chat
If you can't switch to group chat, follow the steps in:

If you're having audio issues with groups, try the following solutions.

Solutions
Check the Xbox status page. If there are any services with alerts, expand that service, scroll down to Notifications, and sign in to receive a message when the service is back up and running.

Xbox Status
If the active game or application is silent or very quiet when using Kinect in a group chat or Skype call, the chat mixer may be set to hear only the conversation.

To adjust the sound level while communicating, adjust the chat mixer settings:
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > General > Audio output & volume.
Select Additional Options > Chat Mixer, and choose one of the options.

Oh I see. I'm afraid there isn't another way to do this.

In the Twitch Xbox App settings, just make sure Party Chat is "Unmuted."
