    Been playign advanced warfare fine til yesterday when i noticed when i go to multiplayer that my NAT says strict when its always been open, xbox says open also then said moderate til i reset it and the modem. We shouldnt have to do the thing with ports its
    BS I bought the game to play it not to mod things first! Any advice on what happened to make it go to strict even tho my xbox one is on OPEN

    Your network is behind port restricted NAT

    They have slower internet and you are wondering why your connection is slower?

    Depends on the router on how to disable NAT or make NAT less intense. We will need your service provider (at the place that has restrictive NAT) and the router they have.

    Those will help us reconfigure a router / modem with different nat settings.

    NAT Type

    My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

    but why? why did my nat change and everyone else i know didnt have theirs change or have to open ports

    Try losing your connection to your college. With college being 2 miles away. And a brief summer shower shows up. Of course this was 1982.

    Try losing your connection to your college. With college being 2 miles away. And a brief summer shower shows up. Of course this was 1982.

    just curious :)

    and I can change my Router NAT to

    Full Cone Nat or Restricted Cone NAT

    default is Classical Linux Hybrid NAT.

    I read about that I don´t need UPNP if I have Full Cone NAT. What would be the best NAT type and why? I try to understand these things :)
