    Looked today and it said I had (377) captures and I finally wanted to sort through them for a montage however when I tapped to view on my console it went down to (94). All my captures are gone. Why the heck would Microsoft think it would be a good idea
    to delete capture? Is there any way to undo this? Been saving soo many clips I'm super hurt.

    Hey Doh67.

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. There are some limitations on screenshots and video capturing.

    • You can upload up to 10 GB of captures to Xbox Live. Once you reach those limits, the oldest captures will be removed as you save new ones (first in, first out).

    • Any game clip or screenshot uploaded to Xbox Live that gets no views in 30 days will be deleted. Viewing it yourself counts as a view, and saves a capture from deletion.

    • Captures you don't upload to Xbox Live will remain on the console they were recorded on.

    • Xbox One consoles hold up to 800 MB of screen shots and 8 GB of game clips. Once you reach those limits, the oldest captures will be removed when you save new captures (first in, first out).

    That might be the reason for your current issue.

    I think they've been doing a good job. Mus be difficult to balance all of those resources and keep most people happy.

    My captures are gone. Save really should mean save.

    After 90 days, captures are deleted from the Xbox network. It actually states this on the captures app. In the future, if you have a screenshot or video capture you want to keep, it is always a good idea to make a backup of them asap.

    I say just give the 1st person on the flag more points than the others. 1st person gets flag capture points, whereas everyone else gets flag capture assists, which is worth less. Even if you die on the flag, if it gets captured as a result of you starting
    the capture, you'd still earn the capture points. Do you guys think this is a good idea or not & why?
