    Why would a game be uninstalled from PC but still on dashboard


    How often do games get uninstalled for no reason? I was playing oblivion for a few days then this afternoon the game was no longer on my computer, it's still showing installed on the dashboard. I shouldn't have to make secured backups of save files. Is this a common occurrence?

    If you interrrupt an update for a Windows Store/Game Pass game, it will corrupt the game and require it to be redownloaded. This is the usual cause of games "vanishing"

    That didn't happen in this case. Is this something common, I've seen a few post about this. I guess I'll reinstall it on a removable drive so I can figure out what happened using some tools I have on my other computer. It happened again this morning.

    So how would this be done from the PC? I play a game that I want to completely start over on and I cannot seem to find the cloud saves on my PC anywhere. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game numerous times and it still keeps all of the achievements
    and overall story progress.
