    Why won't xbox tell people why their xbox got banned


    I have a friend who bought a fairly new xbox from Walmart in December 2023 now to ad some context this guy is stupid he doesn't know jack about software and how to hack program and tamper. He was playing days with us this evening and all the sudden he went offline and eventually told us he got banned through our fb chat I know this guy since elementary school he dumb as rocks there is no way he use a third party software tampered with his xbox. I can get banning people that break the rules but not giving an actual reason for your ban and not having a review on this matter is like highway Robbery its a brand new xbox and now he can't use it feels alot like theft

    Tampering with an Xbox is not the only way to get it banned. A person can do something severe enough that it warrants a console ban. Or they'll issue one if someone has continued to break the rules multiple times on a console. It's also possible someone else had the console before and did something to it, then returned it to Walmart and they put it back on the shelf.

    It wasn't banned when I got it! It was BRAND NEW and I played online with it! It got banned after about a week and a half and I don't know why! Microsoft just picked me out and banned my Xbox and they won't tell me why or send me a new one? It's so unfair?!

    What bothers me the most is that they will tell you why your GT is banned, including all violations, but they won't tell you why your console is banned. In my opinion a GT is the less serious of the two. So why not an answer for a consule ban. I'm just
    going off of what I'm hearing from all of you people that they won't give me an answer. I will just hope and wait for a response like customer support said they would provide.
