    Why won’t the Mortal Kombat 11 Story Modes appear under my games and add-ons?


    I recently got an Xbox One disc copy of Mortal Kombat 11 to play on my Xbox Series X. Ever since I got it, I’ve been dying to play the story mode, but it wouldn’t let me in game. I tried going to my “Game & add-ons” of it, but it won’t appear. I’ve tried re-inserting the disc, restarting the console, enabling and disabling settings but nothing has worked thus far, and they still won’t appear (My device won’t let me add photos, but under the Games & Add-ons and Game Features tab all that appears is the Shao Kahn DLC that was included with the disc.) After taking another look at the disc, I’ve found out that Amazon sent me a European copy of the game, (I live in the USA,) but I don’t see how that could be the problem. Any help on this issue is very much appreciated, as I previously stated, no previous method I’ve tried is worked and I would really like to play the story mode. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for your help! I had a hunch that it was because of the game’s region, but this clarified it for me. I’ll definitely be sure to try and return the game and get a copy that’s specifically for the US!

    It seems that the issue you are experiencing may be related to the region of the game disc you received. Xbox One games are region-locked, which means that a game disc from one region may not work on a console from another region. This could be the reason why the Mortal Kombat 11 Story Modes are not appearing under your games and add-ons.



    To resolve this issue, you may need to purchase a copy of the game that is compatible with your region. You can check the region code of your Xbox console by going to Settings > System > Console info & updates > System info. You can also check the region code of your game disc by looking at the packaging or the disc itself.

    Have you tried finding mortal kombat 11 in your list of games and highlighting it and pressing the menu button on your controller, then clicking on manae game & add ons? Then see if there is anything under ready to install.
