Why won't the last update on fallout 4 download all the way it will not finish so I can play the game

Try doing a hard restart. If that does not work uninstall and reinstall

Another update. Got the dlc reinstalled, and now I can't load any of my saved games. They act like they want to load, but then it gets stuck at the loading screen indefinitely. Wonderful apparently all my progress is gone, so I guess I won't be playing fallout
anymore. Anyone want to buy an Xbox one?

Fallout 4 is Single Player only. It does not use the Internet at all. What may be happening is something else is able to be downloaded in the background since the game doesn't require the Internet. I know part of my update for the New X-Box Experience
downloaded while I was playing Fallout 4. The next morning when I went to play the game the console asked to restart and the update was applied.

Says its all good I can download mods to fallout 4 but still can't play online games
