    Why won't Ninja Gaiden Black work on my Xbox 360 ?


    Hello,

    I've recently bought Ninja Gaiden Black, specifically the xbox classics version, and while my console (Xbox 360 Elite 120gb) recognises the game and shows "Play Ninja Gaiden Black", once the emulator starts a small window pops to tell me the game is not supported.

    I've heard about the official hard drive being the only one to run original xbox games, but my hard drive is the original one which was packed with the console - the interface itself shows a microsoft icon next to it, the hard drive case seems in order with the microsoft logo and holographic stickers.

    Is it simply that my specific version - the "classics" version - won't run ?

    (1) Ninja Gaiden for the Original Xbox (not Ninja Gaiden Black) --> This game will grind you into dust
    This is the one of the few games that made me want to throw my controller though the T.V.! Lol. Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Ninja Gaiden two are AWESOME games!

    Finally i found out my game is Ninja Gaiden not Ninja Gaiden Black. Japan text make me think it's ninja gaiden black.

    I wanna make sure to understand, we're talking about Ninja Gaiden no matter which version I am getting, right ? I am mentioning the classics version of Ninja Gaiden Black, and not the first edition of Ninja Gaiden.

    it is because ninja gaiden black bc came in xbox one

    xbox 360 bc was discontinued 2 years before xbox one it was impractical because ms would have to write a patch
