Why won't newly registered devices show up in my account?

So, I just tested this to see:

I registered my Series X controller.

Sure enough, it said it was registered but wasn't showing up

I then clicked "see details" on my Series X entry which took me to my Series X

I then clicked "All Devices" to take me back to the previous screen and the controller then showed up.

So, not entirely sure why it won't work for you

It will be registered to your account for such purposes. As stated the fact that it isn't a device that can interact with yiur account, it won't show in the list.

Hey when i clcked that little page link it brought me to the page.. i clicked the install and it says i own it, but when i click the install to my devices it doesnt show amy deviced attached to my account! My X1X is registered to my account so not sure
why its not linking up..

sign in to your Xbox account at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ and make sure you have registered your Xbox.

if it isn't registered it won't show as covered by warranty.

Thanks for those replies. The device is registered on the account. I click the following:

1. My Microsoft Account
2. Obvious Choice 'Devices'
3. He appears to have three devices. I've located the correct device and selected 'Manage'.
4. It then takes me to a different screen but again the same devices shown.
5. Selected 'Show Details'
6. Selected 'Register Xbox' but it is already Registered

Here is where I get stuck as when it takes you through this it only appears to want to register the device. It won't let me do this as it is already registered.

I'm clearly not doing something right but can someone help!

I'm not patient nor a gamer!
