Why won’t my Xbox wireless headset charge?

Have you checked if the headphones are not charging connected to another device?

For example, some USB port of a PC or some other device that can supply USB charging.

If you have done this and it still doesn't work, try resetting the headphones back to factory settings to rule out a firmware issue.

If it does not work, you will need to apply your warranty if you still have one.

Thank you for your response. Can you tell me why the warranty on my headset expired before I even bought it? I bought it brand new from Walmart. ( not refurbished )

I purchased it 7/23 and the warranty expired in 3/23

The standard limited warranty for the official Xbox Wireless Headset is 90 days, so you should ask the retailer to update the incorrect warranty (you may need to show the receipt as proof of purchase and to confirm the start date). You can also contact support to look into this.

Headset isn't charging: If the headset is plugged into the console with the USB-C cable but isn't receiving a charge, first check the cable connections to both the console and the headset. If that doesn't work, try plugging the headset into a different power source (another port on a console or device).

Have you tried speaking to customer service at Walmart? Obviously, the warranty should not have expired before you even bought the product, but if you explain the situation, maybe they will swap it out for a new one for you.
