    Why won’t my Xbox power on


    My Xbox powers on but nothing comes up on my monitor I’ve tried to switch the HDMI and still nothing works. Also when I try to reset it using the eject button nothing happens it doesn’t make the sound and the light won’t flash.

    Ok, if everything works correctly, but there is no image on the TV/Monitor, it is possible that the HDMI port on the console is broken, so I recommend testing your HDMI cable with another device to verify that the cable is working correctly.

    In case the cable works correctly with another device, I could tell you for sure that the problem would be with your console. Try it and let me know an answer, I'll be attentive.

    Hi CJ J, my name is Daniel and I would be happy to help.

    I understand the problem you are having, could you tell me if your console was working normally before or since when did you start having this problem? Basically, if your console does not emit any light or noise, it is possible that the power supply has been damaged, so verify that the cable is connected correctly and also follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the console by pressing the Xbox Button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it turns off completely.

    2. Disconnect the power cable from the console. Wait ten seconds.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox Button on the console to turn it on again.

    If you verified that the cable was connected correctly and the problem still persists, I advise you to check if your console has an active warranty to send it for repair. If you have an active warranty, your repair is free, otherwise you would have to pay a fee.

    Hi, viaEyeso! Kindly try to see if you can pull up the Xbox troubleshooter page. Press and hold the Bind button and the Eject button, then press the Power Button. Bind is located on the left side and the Eject button is next to the disc drive on the front of the console.

    Hold the Bind and Eject buttons for between 10 and 15 seconds, or until you hear the system power-up sound twice in a row. The process has failed if you do not hear the power-up sound or if you hear the power-down sound.
