    Why wont my xbox party work on my pc


    I've been using the Xbox app on my pc to talk to my brother who plays on Xbox but a while ago it stopped working, the app opens fine but when I try to start a party it shows that my mic isn't connected and then it closes the party and I haven't been able to talk with anyone on there for months

    Please, follow these steps:

    Press the Windows Key+X > Settings > System > System Components > Search for Game Bar > click the three dots ... > Advanced > Restore

    Then, on the same page, press Repair.

    Xbox console companion game stream mic not working

    At the moment, I am using a usb headset through pc. Party chats on the app work, and parties on xbox I see, through the stream, register my mic. But it doesn't transmit my voice. Which is why I'm extra confused.

    I can't turn on party chat

    Ugh I have 6 friends with the xbox one and no matter what party chat wont turn on for any of us after day one of using it. My ISP wont open ports because it wont help due to the fact there are 2 360 S consoles and 2 Day One Consoles. So port forwarding wont
    work. But it all worked fine before, This party chat issue and god awful invite system are so upsetting. Why hasnt microsoft put up a notice yet? didnt major nelson pass this on being that he has seen it already

    Lol , sorry when we play duo or quad etc with non xbox friends it doesnt work as i said it only works if joined in party.

    so if i play duo with a stranger my mic wont work but when i play with my brother and he creates a party then it works
