Why won't my series x let me add my cousins xbox account onto my console

We understand that you're having trouble adding your cousin's Xbox account to your Series X console. Have you tried the following troubleshooting steps?



1. Check first if your cousin can sign in on the Microsoft website. Try to sign in on this website: Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

2. Check that your internet connection is stable and strong enough to support the sign-in process. To check, follow the steps: Xbox Settings>General>Network Settings>Test network speed and statistic
3. If your Xbox console was connected through WiFi, you may need to try connect it via wired connection by using an Ethernet cable.

4. Clear the cache on your console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, then unplug the power cord for 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning the console back on.

The xbox one x won't let me add an account, and neither will my 2 old xbox ones. All do the grey screen.

The old xboxes say the new update went through. The xbox one x says the same, the update happened the same time my xboxes stopped letting me add my profile. Does that mean all 3 will need this offline update?

I own the game on the Xbox series x but it won't allow me to connect the game to my profile which is on the Xbox series x and so it does not let me play online, If that makes sense.

Please try to test connecting your console to another network and check if the same problem occurs, you could configure your smartphone as a Mobile Hotspot and connect your console to that network.
