    Why won't my Section 8 360 disc download to my Xbox one console?


    I'm trying to play section 8 again for the first time in years since I last played on 360. I took good care of my discs and I never had a problem with this disc that I can remember. I put it in to start a download and it says there is either a network issue or an issue with the disc. I know it's not either since I just got off another online game to play this one. And I took care of my discs. When I press the icon on the home screen to download the game it says I need a quick update to play this game. When I start that download it just starts downloading the last 360 disc that I had in my console which was mass effect 2. I have no clue what the issue is and I'm reading online with these support chats that section 8 is backwards compatible, so what is my issue?

    Hi Zac,

    I remember having such a conflict too with an interrupted update.

    Try to clear the console cash with a hard reset.

    If that doesn't help, try a light factory reset (you can keep the games) or you put in the MA2 disc again and let the system update the game.

    Well that sucks. I doubt it'll ever be backwards compatible with the studio gone too. I guess I'll have to start up the old 360.

    When you insert an Xbox 360 disc, the Xbox One should start a download of the game. Check your My Games and Apps section to see if the game is being downloaded.
