Why wont my new mic (Turtle Beach Stealth 700 wireless headset) work with Fortnite?

the sound quality of wired headsets are generally better but the higher end more expensive wireless headsets are pretty good these days, i have a pair of turtle beach stealth 700 and i love them great wireless headset but upgraded to the turtle beach elite
pro 2 and damn is there a difference

Kindly try to do these steps and check if it will fix the issue.

Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

Unplug everything from the back of your Xbox.

Wait 3 minutes, and then plug the power cord and HDMI back in.

Then, please check if that fixes the issue.

If that still doesn't fix the issue, try to reset the console this way.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember the email and password for the account before taking these steps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

Select "Reset and keep my games & apps

If still getting the same issue, please uninstall and reinstall the game.

The team did a great job with the headset. They are the best sounding pair of headphones I've ever purchased. However, like many of you, mic monitoring is a feature that we need. If you have not tried Turtle Beach, I would highly recommend them. They've been making wireless gaming headsets for many years, their mic monitoring is second to none and they have great sound. I've Checked out some reviews for the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 and believe this will be the best headset for me. I'll probably stick with TB from now on.
