Why won't my Minecraft update to the latest release when its already on the latest release...

Reading over the latest "Pinned" in these forums gives the impression that the latest X1 console update is a bricker.

Don't they test these updates before releasing them??????

just to be sure, with the latest update do you mean latest official release or the latest Xbox Insider release?

I also believe my issues coincide with the latest patch. Everything was fine until today, when the latest cersion was released.
