Why won't my Elite 2 controller Connect to Xbox One?

After, this problem, I took the controller back to the sho and purchased the elite 2 controller and still have the same problems.

I have a PC my Son has an Xbox.

Are you suggesting that I connect to that first then disconnect then try on the PC.

Can I ask why you don't just update Xbox accessories so it puts everything right.

I will try what you have suggested but I can't understand why a massive company like yours won't put things right correctly.

I've also noticed it connects as the 360 controller in the drivers section and won't find any other drivers.

Also I can't seem to update the elite controller 2 on Xbox ACCESSORIES.

I try to connect my Xbox Elite wireless controller series 2 via bluetooth on my Ipad Pro 11 inch 2018, but it can't make connection or won't be recognized. The series 2 controller supports bluetooth. I can make connection with the other older version Xbox
One S wireless controller immediately.

I'd make a phone call with Apple support and they said that maybe the problem could be that the Xbox Elite controller series 2 won't be supported and isn't compatible with Ipad.

I want to know guys if you had the same problem and I want to ask if there will be an update in the future to solve this problem?

At the moment the series 2 elite controller is not compatible with Iphones/Ipads. At the moment the only device that the series 2 controller is available on IOS side is the Mac and even that it's janky. Series 2 controller works fine on Android at the moment.

Based on your description and since you are able to connect your controller to your Windows PC, we will need to isolate the case further if the issue is due to the controller's firmware or the console's software.

Try to update your controller's firmware using your Windows PC. Here's how:

Update your controller on Windows 10/11 by using the Xbox Accessories app:

If you don’t already have the app installed, get it in the Store:

Open the Xbox Accessories app.

Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update.

Things to keep in mind:

The Xbox Accessories app is available only on Windows 10/11.

Updating the controller over Bluetooth is not supported.

If the issue on connecting your controller to your console still persists after the firmware update, try to perform a factory reset keep my games and apps on your console:

Why did you buy an Xbox elite controller 2

It breaks easily why not buy a regular Xbox one controller if you are just to play games

I would not waste my money on advanced accessories

Is there a difference between the Bluetooth on the Elite and the one on the regular Xbox one controllers. My other controllers connect without an issue, but not the Elite.
