Why won't my console factory reset when I selected it so it could finish the update

As well as the suggestion to turn your console to Instant On then selecting the option to keep it updated you could try a factory reset on the console. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them and your saves
will be safe on the Cloud.

I did the factory reset and kept my games. It seems to have kept my apps also. But it won't capture now. The "x" button that's beside the menu is missing. I went to capture options and manually told it to capture 30 seconds but nothing happened. What am

Hello again, if with this procedure it did not work, try uninstalling the game, then do a reset by keeping games and Apps in the console and then reinstall the game.

Select system > system > console > system

Select Reset console.
