Why won’t Microsoft help

Yes, I have had 4-5 call backs to get an update.

All they ever say on the phone is there is no update and we will reach out to you by email in 24 to 48 hours.

Yes thanks. I suspected that was the case. I was just looking for ideas or a reason why no response from a group after almost a week and supplying credit card info, dob, and all the other sensitive info requested.

At 54 years old, and the account Belonging to my son, a “go to hell” via email from them, would be a courtesy at this point.

Engineers would never understand with a teen on the spectrum, the explaining of not being to trusting of everyone, ie other gamers, explaining being careful with information.

And also trying to explain that hopefully we can get his 6 year old Xbox account back.

I bet most people don’t know, but XBOX, like other consoles are used Ike a tool in organized settings with certain youth to teach social normals.

Just many dynamics at play.

I mentioned your situation to a very competent person that explained why these fall through the cracks. She also had me fixed in less than 12 hours.

It’s all based on who starts the case.

Wow. Unbelievable! Who is it that Microsoft feels underwrites a good amount of the activity, it’s not the gamers in all cases..

Unfortunately I have recently had a very similar experience. It's been almost six weeks since submitting the requested information regarding my son's hacked account. There has been no follow up or response to our inquiry. This is very disappointing as my son had a couple of his own games attached to this profile, that now appear to be lost. I only share this in the hopes someone see it and possible looks into improving this process. I hope your outcome is better than mine. Cheers.
