why wont it let me upgrade to mw2 vault edition for £30 if I already have the standard edition?

I’m having the same issue. I have the hard copy of MW2 cross gen bundle for Xbox series X and thought I would be able to get the upgrade in game, however it’s asking for me to buy the game all over again(99$) instead of simply paying the the discount (30$). If you could help me out or give me some information, it would be very appreciated.

I am having the same issue on Xbox One. Mine says $30 all the way up until i enter my payment info and the it changes to $99.

i had this problem, got the crossgen version on Xbox series X, said it was £30 to upgrade then it charges me £99 for upgrading when i already own the game, no wonder they make so much money, when can we expect our refund of £69 when it clearly stated that it was £30 to upgrade
