    why wont it let me pay my past due subscriptions when iv more than enough money on my card

    Xbox Live Gold Past Due

    So my Xbox Live Gold subscription recently said it was past due, so i got a 25 dollar gift (to pay for a one month subscription) .

    Then i went to pay off the past due subscription and it wont let me which is making me outraged that my money basically meant nothing.

    So i have a past due subscription but it wont let me pay the £3.99 i owe when i go to pay it says sorry we ran into a problem please try again later but i can use my card to buy other things from the store this has been happening for over 24 hours now
    please can someone help

    I'm not sure why, but overdue payments have to be made with a credit/debit card. Probably because you had a card on your account, as subscription cards wont ever go overdue.

    What you'll have to do is add a new, valid payment option. Pay your overdue balance. Cancel the subscription renewal. Then use your subscription card. Sorry its a headache but as far as I know, there is no other way.

    You would have to try contacting support and see if they can do anything else, but otherwise overdue balances can only be paid with a credit card or Paypal. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Hello Threezi

    If you add it on console, I suggest logging in on the
    website     and pay the past due balance there. Most cases it wont let you on the Xbox console,If you are having issues paying the past due or unable to can always
    contact Us select get call back from agent and they can help you pay it. Just for your information in the future Xbox live subscriptions usually wont take Microsoft account balance
    as a payment option.
