Why wont it let me download mw2 on my pc when though i bought it on xbox? I need help

The version you purchased from the Xbox store can only be played using an Xbox console. If you would like to play it on your computer then you will have to purchase a separate version for PC at the Activision website

I agree with Grey Pilgrim but, Me and my dad bought a MW2 and it wont play it will say open trey. But then we got a MW3 edition xbox and we hooked it up and it will play. We bought 2 games Blackops and a MW2 and both wont play. But on anouther console we
ALREADY had will play them the MW3 edition do we need it repaired please help!!!!!

This will depend on the game. You can play the game both on Xbox and PC if it's an Xbox Play Anywhere game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is not an Xbox Play Anywhere game.

But if I own it can't I play it on my pc isn't it all through Microsoft I just don't understand why I can play it off my Xbox why I can't play off my pc I can play games like high on life on my Xbox and then go play on my pc and pick up where I left off

Only one Call of Duty has ever been sold on the Microsoft store, and has separate PC and console versions

Unless a title is on the Microsoft store and supports cross saves, it won't work
