Why won’t it allow me to join a group post on games?

For us to isolate the issue, I will be asking few questions.

Does the issue happen to other games when you create a group post?
What steps have you done so far?
Did you already test a different Xbox profile if you could create a group post?

I've found for you a reddit thread that details the same issues that may have an answer for why you're having issues. The most likely answer could be social feature outages could be going on/your console is having issues communicating information over Xbox
Live via the internet. Try to restart the console and maybe your router to see if that helps.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Except I used the same tags, and changed the "as I keep getting..." to "DO NOT SHOOT ENRAGED ENEMIES FIRST!" and then it worked. That was the only thing I changed. It just does not make any sense to me.

Tags also factor in. I would keep it short and sweet and explain anything else you need to once the party has been created.
