    Why won't Call of Duty World at War install on my Xbox One?


    I recently got call of duty world at war and inserted the disc into my xbox one, and it said "Sorry, this game isn't playable here. For a list of Original Xbox and Xbox 360 games that are playable, go to xbox.com/BackCompat (0x8082000c)" I looked it up and WaW is supposed to be backwards compatible for the xbox one, so why won't it install? The console is an Xbox One S if that makes any difference.

    Nevermind, I ejected the disc and reinserted, that seemed to fix the issue.

    Hi Ryan, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

    Ryan, that message is shown only for two situations, when the game disc that you are trying to download is not compatible with the device and as a second situation is when the disc has some problem, defect or dirt and the console reader is not able to read it.

    When you have verified that the game is included in the backward compatibility list, try removing the disc, cleaning it very well, restarting the console and trying to play again.
