    Go to the settings of your Xbox 360.

    In the network settings do a connection test to Xbox Live.

    At what point does the connection test to Xbox Live fail?

    Do you get an error message or error code?

    Hi there William,

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the Xbox 360 connecting to Xbox Live. Try this:

    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, I recommend to try the following article:

    Give this a try and let us know the results.

    it says service alert
    Service status shows that there are no service alerts at https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

    If there are service alerts in your region, then you will have to wait for it to be fixed.
