    It isn't BUT I don't get the chance to put my new one in, because when you go to change the WLID, it asks for your current password (for the current ID) and when i put it in, it says invalid (so i don't get promoted to use my new email). But obviously the
    passworrd is correct, as I'm on xbox.com with the account :p

    I'm am haveing the same problame..put the new password in and then it asks to remember password and I get a error code then I'm booted...80048821....is the error code..

    I have tried, no one to contact at yahoo. So started a new account with gmail.

    so i have changed my account with microsoft but on the xbox it keeps asking for password for the yahoo account.....

    Want to create and transfer a local Xbox account to a Xbox live account

    Just create a new email address, free at outlook.com, don't turn this into gamertag by coming here. Put in proper age when creating account.

    Go to your console and signin to local profile. Press middle button and pick join xbox live. Follow instructions and put in new email and password when asked. You now have new child profile.

    My Mum created my profile like that.
