Only Sirius can answer that question for you, but for whatever reason they decided to stop updating and supporting their app.

Unless there is a significant reason to do so, like legal issues, Microsoft does not remove the apps except by the request of their authors. Developers are 100% responsible for their own apps

No they need to partner with SiriusXM.

People been griping about this since the Xbox One came out. I do not understand why you can do this on PS4 but not on Xbox One. That and the fact that you cannot listen to SiriusXM on Xbox One. It is my number one complaint as far as Xbox One goes.

I'm sorry to hear that is happening. In this case as you've mentioned to have already uninstalled and re-installed the app. We suggest (if it hasn't already been done) a reset of the console
since the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a
Soft Factory Reset(while keeping games and apps)

Before resetting your console make sure of the following:

• There is a stable network connection.
  
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)
  
  
  

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup let's do
manual setup.
