Why was omori removed from buying after it was removed from gamepass

Hello I was gonna get omori when i got the money so i checked if it was still on sale but when I checked it was not available for purchase so I i could get a reply i would be happy thank you.

looks like Omori was delisted on windows store, xbox console and ps4/5, still remains available to purchase on steam.

the game was removed from gamepass, that's why you can't play it.

If this is something that happen a decade ago, why is there a rumor that this is the cause for omori being removed? Also thank you for sharing this, I been trying to look into it but haven't found much
