why was my account deleted

It is possible that your Minecraft account must have been migrated to Microsoft.

You can check the information about the account migration FAQ in Minecraft here at this link:

In order to locate the Microsoft account associated with your Minecraft account. Kindly sign in all of your email addresses on account.microsoft.com > then go to Payment and Billing > then Order History.

From there, try to locate any Minecraft transactions,

if you haven't found one, try to check your other email address in the Order history.

If you have found a Minecraft transaction, use the same account to sign in on your Minecraft launcher as it is most likely the account where your Minecraft account was migrated to.

And another question. Why does it tell me "On 10/28/2013, we'll delete your old security info" and "Once this is deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to. If you didn't make the updates, or if you still have access to
the above info." What does "info you have access to" mean? I have access to both my account and my alternate account. Why is it forcing me to delete my old security info? Why the hell are they doing this?

There are messages on my xbox messenger that will not delete...accounts sending me messages are not on my friend list, and the delete option is not working...any idea why the delete option is not working? I suspect they are hackers...

Are you talking about your Epic Account?

If you want to use the WLID attached to this account, just change it to another WLID and then your original one will be freed up. More specific instructions can be found at our sticky post:
