Why was I not refunded after I was charged after a preorder

I was charged $106 for the preorder of mw3. I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund for the game and it’s been almost a week now and I haven’t been refunded.

Are you sure you were actually charged?

Because if you used a debit/credit card or paypal it doesnt actually charge you for the game until within 10 days of the release day.

You might have seen a test charge (that happens to make sure you actually have the funds available) but the test charge normally would drop off after a few days

It's quite strange that you haven't been refunded yet, it usually takes a few days for the refund to be credited to your account.

If you made the purchase by credit card, your refund may fall on your next credit card billing cycle.

If it doesn't appear on your invoice, I recommend you contact support to see what's going on.

I submitted a request for a refund after being charged twice for a preorder and it was denied based on the fact that the preorder was made more than 30 days prior (18/09/2022), despite the fact that I wasn’t charged for the preorder until the end of October so had no way to know the order had doubled up.

I’d love to know how I can pay for a preorder twice. Surely you shouldn’t even be able to process a preorder twice on your console, let alone end up paying $320 for a game.

There is not request a refund option under my order and the game is delayed by Ubisoft so why did Microsoft charged everyone for the preorders?
