    hey all,

    i received a 2 week chat ban that was just upheld. They said i was being racist, but i was talking about fortnite skins. I live in Toronto Canada, arguably the most multi-cultural place on earth and have had friends of every race since kindergarten. I am
    not racist, nor do i type/speak racist words. The conversation i got chat banned for we were talking about fortnite skins. Maybe the enforcement team member is english second language and didnt understand, or maybe his own predispositions made it so he saw
    racism when there wasnt any, or maybe hes just ignorant to facts.

    any ways just came here to let it be known that the enforcement team is wrong yet again and being called racist when you are not is a bad feeling - unless fortnite skins are considered a race then yes i was racist towards fortnite skins by asking someone
    why they use default skins if they play the game so much

    I was chat banned for talking about fortnite skins

    I didnt know fortnite skins were a protected class - had i known i wouldnt have disparaged the default skin like I did. please microsoft i am not racist towards default skins.

    Regrettably, there is nothing we can do here in the forums, in regards to actions taken by the Enforcement team. FYI, someone has to actively report a user, and the reason why, for a member of the team to look into the situation.

    They may not realize you're talking about a different account. It took me a minute to realize you were not talking about the same gamertag you're posting with since there's only 1 letter difference.

    The skin of your avatar is modded on the other account. That's why it would be banned.

    Xbox allows "Trash Talking" yet bans people.....

    Yes they do ban for offensive words, racism and many other ways of talking trash so...hope that helps mate.
