    So I am asking on behalf of my sister. She has had two pairs of headphones randomly stop working where you cant hear sound, tested them both on my pc too and they dont work. The first pair she had for a few years and they stopped working. The second pair I just gave her little less than a week ago and its headphones are not working, mic is but not head phones. She also has speakers she can switch to, that are plugged into a certain spot on the back of her PC and those dont work in that spot and will only work in a different spot, could this be a audio driver issue?

    Hi there!

    To confirm, does your sister use her headphones on a PC? Windows 10 or Windows 11? What's her headsets make/model?

    If the headsets don't work on your PC too but your own headset works there, it's surely her headsets that are defective.

    To further isolate the issue, try to plug it in on a mobile device and see if it works fine or not.

    Im so sorry for the late reply I told her to go into my account and see if anyone replied and she never did, Not sure what the first pair of headphones were, but the second pair were a set of spare corsair HS60 pro surround sound, and the headphones when I plugged them into my pc as well they were not being detected almost as if her pc did something to them. She is one windows 10 Im not even sure how she would have broken two headphones unless she lied.
