    Why there are no DLCs for Gears of War 2 here in Brazil?


    Hi, I'm Brazilian and recently I downloaded GOW 2 for free through the Xbox Games With Gold. I played the game until the end thinking that this way I would unlock the Deleted Scenes but when I saw the Main Menu, there was nothing there! a quick search in
    the Internet show me that I needed to buy this content in the Xbox Live to unlock it, but here in Brazil there are no DLCs for GOW 2! To worsen the things a bit more, something similar happened with me when I bought Metro 2033 (there are no DLCs for Metro
    2033).

    Honestly gentlemen, I think that is an absurd - how I can buy a game in the Live and at same time don't have any access to its content? More important:
    when Microsoft will fix this problem?

    I am confused on the savage kantus and thrashball cole are they only for the people who bought the limited edition of gears 3 or will there be 2 different DLCs? But other than that the pack looks nice.

    Why can't they be done with DLC for Gears 3? Gears of War 2 was released on November 7, 2008. The Dark Corners/All Fronts DLC was released July 28,2009 which is about 8 months. Let's face it, Gears 3 is not doing as well popularity wise as Gears 2 did.

    well for one thing as long as your account is out of region you will continue to have issues downloading content

    if this is a temporary visit don't migrate

    however as long as you are outside the us you cannot download region locked content

    yes gears of war 3 is region locked

    only way to redownload it is to be physically back in the US

    now to purchase gears of war you will either need to have a Brazilian account as you physically are in brazil or migrate your account but this will not fix the gears of war 3 issue as it is a us content not a brazil

    but when you move back to the us you will lose access to gears of war 1 as it is also region locked

    this is why it is better if you wait till yuou are in the us if a temporary visit
