    Why the Xbox One X update today has HDR off when gaming???


    Theres no way I can play the games in hdr. I might have to try and end the Xbox Insider to try and get rid of the hdr not turning and i know its working

    Xbox One X HDR in 1080p

    You'll be able to set the output of the Xbox One X to 1080p, and if a game supports HDR then the console will use it, I mean the Xbox One S supports HDR, so no reason why the Xbox One X would only allow it at 4K.

    Are updates mandatory for Xbox One X?

    The Xbox One X Game updates for the 4K HDR content are mandatory. A lot of the game that have been release previously before the Xbox One X release will require an update.

    It did help when i did a Soft Factory Reset and i turnedoff HDR.

    I just wonder why i have to turn off HDR when both my tv and my xbox x supports it ? Are there coming any updates for xbox os so that will work 100% ?

    As it is now i, and i guess many with me with Samsung tvs, cant use all the features that the console supports.

    Many thanks for all the help to make my gaming experience awsome.
