Why would I add 3 months for 29.99 when i got 3 month for 12;50 plus tax. If you want my money microsoft you need too see were Gamerz have lost your way with the price you give in the biginning and then ask 4 more...?????

Xbox live gold free version?

Those prices are also full price. There are sales from time to time on the gold memberships. Don't forget, with Microsoft Rewards you can actually use your reward points to get xbox live memberships, so you can in theory get Xbox Live Gold just by using
the bing search tool (Google doesn't pay you to search....).

Assuming you are referring to xbox live gold memberships then the difference is price.

It's nearly always best to buy your gold memberships from a shop or online store as it's almost always cheaper than buying it directly on the xbox.

The price has probably been listed wrong. As far as I know the price for the gold subscription has not changed.

Why should they get anything? Microsoft are opening the gates for people who don't already have a membership to experience what the membership offers, and in return , hoping for people to jump on to their service. This is a typical marketing practice used
by many businesses around the world.

If you have a problem on how they market their product, you can always contact them via twitter or phone and discuss your displeasure for letting more people enjoy the live service.
