    Why the event is random or is it?


    Suggestion. There are some quite long players on events, it is popular. Make leagues on events. Wait that 50 of same level players enters and start to compete each other. A bit like WRC car races. As a rookie you start at bottom level with players of about the same experience and skills. A season is like 10 events, and your ranking on your session is based on your result in an event. There should be a indicator showing within the event how you are doing in an event, thus you do not have to start at same time. Like in WRC game, it is your time on each race, an event is a set of races (5 - 25). In an event an league you just gather 50 players of about same skill & exp. level. As a player finishes a race (one round of solitaire game) the result bar is showing at what level you are. If you are the first one to start obviously you should end as on podium. But a player starting later may do a better overall time and thus beat your position at the end of the race. The WRC is a framework, you need to think how the system works in solitaire context. To me it would nice to see how well I am doing in an event - how is my lap time positioning - am I gaining or loosing towards podium position. To compete against super guys is depressing. My nick is BatteVision.

    I'm going to say "YES" they can happen only once because there is a counter in the Guide that says "0/24" (I think). There are a good amount though that are repeatable (these fall outside these specific ones though : ex cop chases, firetrucks responding
    with lights and sirens, police choppers following a suspect).

    ^ A blue bot pops up near you letting you know there is an event you can engage in.

    In the couple of hours I've played I've had 2 events (security van hijacking, and a purse robbery)

    Nevermind, situation resolved itself. I looked at my social club page & didn't see Antonio as completed, though it is sometimes hard to tell which is which from those tiny photos!

    So I was heading back north in the blimp to see if she would reappear & decided to buzz the cult along the way. As I dived bombed them in the blimp lo & behold I was magically transported back to the cut scene in the altruist camp (complete with fiery pieces
    of blimp raining down on the idiot cannibals) where Trevor finds the AK. This time I was a bit less gung-ho & methodically gunned them all down. I collected all the loot & parachuted down the mountain as my vehicle was not outside the gate any longer. Too
    many mountain lions to walk out of there.

    I then went back to save Antonio & she was there... all's well that ends well!

    Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
