    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    I apologize but the 12-character Gamertag is the new update and this will really depend on Microsoft.

    Here's some information from them:

    "We updated new Xbox gamertags to support a 12-character max, Unicode-based name of your choice, with an auto-generated suffix if the gamertag is shared. We offer 13 different alphabets for gamers, which support more than 200 languages worldwide."

    You have to have an actual Xbox 360 console,that's the only workaround.

    Wrong,yet again.It's a 12 character limit except on a Xbox 360 console.
