    Why no tile transparency options anymore?


    As title says, I was checking Settings other day because I got a wallpaper that I’d like to see better since most of the action of the picture goes on down below in the landscape and noticed that there’s no longer the auction to change it, my question is why?

    If we can choose the colour of the tiles then why not add "transparent" as a colour option , that way , any themes that may be implemented in the future would be visible (to a certain extent).

    Transparent tiles, while being a nice option, i can't help but picture it not really helping. You'd see the faded outline of the tile, whatever you have in the background, and have a hard time reading what the tiles say. I think it would be bad for
    the eyes overall.
    I have 8.1 on my Nokia Lumia Icon with transparent tiles; if they are easy to read on a 5" screen...

    I've got the transparent tiles and they look good. Best to set the tile colour to something like the grey-ish one, they become more transparent then.

    My previous games and apps stay solid and will not go back to the settings "Mostly Transparent "

    I'm having the same issue and reported it along with a screenshot. The recently used games and apps are still solid even after selecting mostly transparent in the options menu. All other tiles prior to the latest update are transparent
