why my xbox series x does not recognize the xbox 360 halo 4 disc, it is not supposed to be...

series x has disc drive and the series s does not

smart delivery is so it downloads the content for the specific console

hence why the game case has series x and xbox one advertised on it. the disc can be used in series x and xbox one consoles, the series s does not have a drive therefore requires digital purchase.

As a summary:

This disc won‘t work on a PAL XBOX 360 due to the region lock but does work on a XBOX One as there is no more region lock since that generation.

As the Series X is also advertised as region free i supposed that this disc should work on this device too.

So why there is an incompatibility now when it already works with a XBOX one?

It is not a big deal as i have two XBOX One (S and X) here which i of course can use for this disc but i am curious concerning the technical background in this special matter.

I can play Xbox one Games on disc and I don't know why the xbox 360 games didn't recognized xbox one and that is supposed to be xbox backward.

I insert the Xbox 360 Call of Duty Ghost Disc and i go the Xbox Store it said not currency available and there is no option to where install it manually

I tried power cycle and tried disc again and didn't work

At least you've actually managed to get into the game, my xbox can't recognize or read my halo 4 disc off the dash, whereas it'll read and recognize every other game I own! D:<
