why must I buy a game I already bought

I noticed that the game you have purchased is not working properly.

Based on past experience, this issue often involves unusual loading of account information as well as regional issues.

You need to troubleshoot it step by step.



The first thing to check is whether the purchase order is showing as completed:

Use your Microsoft account to sign in to:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

Select All available to see if there is a corresponding order.







If it shows as completed here, then the next step is to check for region and version issues:

If the following areas are not set up uniformly, then you may experience problems with your purchases:

- Your Microsoft account region.

- The region where you purchased the item.

- The region of your operating environment (Typically it's your Windows/Xbox system settings.)

- If you purchased a version of the game that does not match the version for your platform, then you may not be able to play the game on your platform.



Finally, if you are using the Xbox App on PC, try the following steps to reload your profile:

Log out of your Xbox account on Xbox App.

Open the Settings using the Win + I combination.

Go to the Apps from the left pane.

Navigate to the Installed Apps.

Search for the Xbox app.

Click the three dots and select Advanced options.

Scroll down to the Reset column and click Repair click Reset.

Do the Same to the Microsoft Store. (Microsoft Store in System Components app)

Then log back into your account.

yes I am signed into the right account, the payment went though but I did not get the game..

Yes, if you want to. Because it's considered a different version of the game.

Are you sure you are logged into the right account on your Windows PC's profile/account

Its not backwards compatible, so will not download to Xbox One

The remake is out next week, and as the other person said, is a seperate game
