Why mouse doesn't work on Microsoft Edge? (XBOX ONE S)

Logitec mouses are perfect

The one I tried using oddly didn't work with the Xbox One S, it just made the Microsoft Edge style cursor appear on the game and it wouldn't click or actually work on anything.

The mouse doesn't work with Edge? That's disappointing, that's one major reason I would get a K/M for Xbox.

mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, A mouse will not work in Microsoft Edge, which already has an on-screen cursor."

Mouse support will only work in ceratin games and apps that provide this feature.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

Why would Bill Gates care about what happens on the Xbox console, he doesn't work at Microsoft anymore.

Until Microsoft do implement mouse and keyboard onto the Xbox One, you could just use one of these.

We understand this can be frustrating since the Mouse is not recognized when trying to maneuver Microsoft Edge on
the Xbox One. We have heard there are issues with using the mouse on Microsoft Edge but the keyboard works. We are gathering information on this issue.

Note: Wired USB mice will work only
in select games and apps that have enabled mouse navigation. Check your games to see if they offer mouse input.
Try to
configure your mouse in Settings > Kinect & devices.There are options
for pointer speed and swapping primary and secondary mouse buttons.
