    Like halo Infinite, Forza Horizon etc.

    If u using "driverquery.exe /v" command in the Windows Terminal (Admin) while u running an Xbox game, u will clearly find that there's no any other anti-cheat driver running except for Easy Anti-Cheat.

    My expectations for anti-cheating:

    1. Kernel driver (There will be at least one .sys file);

    2. Gather information when necessary and keep update itself;

    3. Enable Exploit Protection (CFG, DEP, Bottom-up ASLR, High-entropy ASLR, SEHOP, VHI and may important Mandatory ASLR) and TPM 2.0 (Windows 11 and above) are used to detect a variety of new types of hardware or software cheating.

    Reference Anti-Cheat: Riot Vanguard, Faceit AC

    :)

    Why MICROSOFT XBOX first-party games don't have anything to against hardware cheating or software cheating? (Some software can pretending that was a normal behave)

    because that command just lists installed drivers and there properties, anticheat has a driver but also works in the background with other services that are not listed via this command.

    Why MICROSOFT XBOX first-party games don't have anything to against hardware cheating or software cheating? (Some software can pretending that was a normal behave)

    Some games, like PAYDAY or Halo Infinite, have their own anti-cheats, but these anti-cheats are more passive, and sometimes these anti-cheats can't even detect the mouse macro.

    I think these anti-cheats only have a preventive effect and a small detection effect, bcz it does not require any privacy statement, and precisely bcz it lacks the necessary proactive detection to be detected by the anti-cheat team and take action on it when cheat, illegal practices etc. is found in the game, there will be many software cheaters who are good at pretending to be and even very daring hardware cheaters. (Be aware that some cheatware can serve its purpose by posing as a sys driver)

    My response may not be very frequent, but I will try to reply when I see it.

    For the answer to this, pls refer directly to Ricochet Anti-cheat approach, and there will be a file called Randgrid.sys in the game directory.

    Cheating and harassment reports

    Well, it depends on the Developer and the game....in the case of something like Forza Horizon, the Leaderboards give a clear example of it. Playground were aware of the cheating and hacking through the entire life of FH4 and did nothing. And their in-game reporting tool doesn't actually do anything beyond giving the player a placebo effect from having pressed a button.

    When a 1st Party Developer owned by Microsoft/Xbox basically gives cheats and hackers permission (by taking no action) to do what they like within the game, then it makes you wonder why there are codes of conduct in the first place. Not to mention, if MS/Xbox don't care (and if they did then they'd make sure their own Developers abided by MS/Xbox's policies and they don't), then why should other Developers etc?

    The Lag switching needs to stop...

    Cheats have no place in games they should be banned from xbox altogether. I don't see why people should cheat I just don't get the logic in it. CHEATS NEVER ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING
