    Why lock me out of my account when i run out of xbox live?


    I have an xbox account and i had xbox live up until now and i thought once that live runs out i would just be able to use my account offline and play free games like xbox advertises but no once you lose xbox live xbox has a setting to where you cant log back into your account until you have payed your subscription which is very crazy to me. There is no practical use of locking yourself out of your account when you run out of xbox live so it only makes sense as a way xbox forces people into paying subscriptions. So my question is, how am i expected to turn off this setting if i cant get into ny settings without an account that has xbox live which i cant sign into because of the settings? And why create this loophole to lock paying customers out of their accounts?

    Bold of you to assume i canceled at all but no I did not cancel and i don’t have an outstanding bill and either way it should not lock me out of my account nor should it have a setting where you get locked out of your account when you are “offline” at all in the first place. I shouldnt have to “pay that and be good to go” I should be able to use my account offline for the features xbox allows for offline usage.

    it means that when you canceled you were still into the next bill., And you have an outstanding bill, once you pay that you'll be good to go

    Locked out of my xbox live account.

    i got the same problem, except that i use my account much more often and i have proofen that i am the real owner of the account. i got the passord- reset- email and i changed my password but still. when i want to log in, i get the " u have to proof email
    and pw stuff " and it wont work even with the new one. did that about 3 times now

    when i try to login with the new password on xbox.com ill get the message that my account is in use by someone else. ????
