Why isn't there a wait list to buy a series x

It's up to the individual retailers to decide how they sell the products they carry. Most retailers wouldn't want to offer a list with no guarantee that they would have the product to sell.

My local ebgames has a wait list but one major problem they still fulfilling orders from Novembre for the series x and launch consoles for the ps5

The worldwide chip shortage and pandemic is affecting things either you wait or try buying duringnthe lottery (when stock comes in)

Chip shortage effects everything from phones cars fridges computers and consoles

There is an alternative financing.

Ebgames and what not do all access

Its a steal with 2 years of xgu for 200 more but over 2 years with financing759 this vids the problem of scalpers

Seen some ebgames with in-store stock retailers decide what to offer in-store or online

Right now scalpers are more of a regional thing and it's bad on bothbsides with the chip shortage and the pandemic

With the current pandemic it's best to have it online and avoid the problem if 100 people standing outside their doors with no social distancing or worse telling 100 people they only have 10 consoles

Fyi there I'd another issue mugging is frequent when an hot item is in stock

Personally I got NY series x at launch but my ps5 which wss more of a afterthought and given Sony's inability to restock anytime soon and it's the test item right now I paid only 100 over the taxe- (i800) which is an improvement with some sellers trying to get 1000 still) though my games didn't get any performance patches except one (squadrons which runs at 1440p) None of my big titles like the last of us 1-2 or ff7

I get a lot of performance patches for gamepass games though

I would buy the one x and wait for the price to come down on the series x but I'm proper ****. If i had the money then without a doubt I'd be waiting for the series x

Depending on your goals, budget and if you are really willing to wait or not matters the most here's some thoughts:

• Xbox One S [cheapest besides a used Xbox One, and you can buy now, still plays 4K discs and runs Xbox One games just fine]
• Xbox One X [substantially more powerful hardware, and you can buy it now but depending on if you want to game in 4K UHD it may not be worth the extra $$]
• Xbox Series X [can't buy it yet, but will be a substantial upgrade performance wise from an Xbox One X and will likely be faster even when not in games (for example running the dashboard)
  • Will likely be a large step up... but will also probably be more money than an Xbox One X

Me personally: I'd probably buy a Xbox One or Xbox One S & wait for the Xbox Series X and pre-order it

You have three options:

• Buy a replacement Xbox 360
• Buy an Xbox One - and play your games that are BC
• Wait until the Series X releases. The Series X is due to have the same backwards compatibility with 360 and original Xbox games the the Xbox One has.

As long as you use the same account on one of these other consoles you can download them again. But you can not download these games to a PC.
