Why isn't there a save option after editing my button mapping controls?

Actually, this option isn't removed with some ISP's, it's just more hidden.

You have to edit the existing WAN Setup under the Advanced Setup tab.

Click the edit button, hit next, and it the "Enable Firewall" option will be on that page. Uncheck it and hit next and save.

If I understand correctly, you think that the app isn't working because after configuring the controller with the Pc app if you disconnect the controller, and you reconnect it to your Xbox the app doesn't sync that information

In this case the problem would be the controller, as the app don't have a synchronization with the cloud option for controllers mapping, the controller it's the one that saves that configuration and take it trough different devices

Thank you for keeping us updated. As Jurgen1488 stated, there is no option to select done or apply. The

button map settings should be saving after you exit the screen. The console should be asking you to sign in, unless you are already signed in, and create a button map profile name. The article we provided explains how to set this up. If your button map
settings are not saving, we suggest
power cycling the console by holding down the power button for ten seconds. Be sure to let us know the results!
