    Why isn't there a place to request games to become backwards compatitble? (xbox 360 games...


    I believe it would allow more input from the wider xbox community onto games which they would love to play, and be able to play some games on newer consoles without needed to boot up the old 360 from time to time (I for one would love to be able to play wwe 2k14 on my series x amongst other games). So I hope if anything this question may lead to some sort of development I suppose!

    There was, but the backwards compatibility program has ended. All games that are technologically and legally able to be made backwards compatible have been, and there will be no more additions to the program

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Microsoft already has a list of games that are becoming backward compatible. they had a voting system in place to recommend different games. Unfortunately, that system is no longer in place. To request backward compatible
    games now you will need to get with the developer of the game and request it with them. As they are ultimately responsible for allowing games to become backward compatible.

    Hi!

    This isn't really the place to suggest backwards compatible titles. Make sure that you vote for the game to be backwards compatible on the Xbox Uservoice site.

    Other than that, it's up to the developers of the game to decide whether or not the game becomes backwards compatible.

    There is no way of telling when games become available as backward compatible. They had a voting system in place for a while so all could vote on games they wanted to become available. unfortunately, now the voting is closed and the only way to request a
    game to become backward compatible is to suggest it with the developer.
