    Why isnt my xbox reading my discs?


    All my discs are clean and free from any grub. So, thats out the question. I did a cycle restart thingy and checked the app store but still nothing. Even when i bought the game itself on the app store it still doesnt work for me. I have my game pass all paid for already.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your games.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

    - Could you tell me exactly what happens when you insert one of your discs? do you get any error codes/messages?

    - Could you give me a few examples of games you are experiencing this with?

    - Regarding the game you purchased on the Microsoft Store, may I ask what happens when you try to launch it?

    Very disappointed in xbox atm.

    Now upon further inspection my xbox isnt missing its side panel that that protects the inside of my xbox, and it wont even take disc now..... So i sent it in whole, not reading disc it comes back missing parts of the xbox, and it wont even accept disc now...

    Try hard restarting your xbox. If you own this game via disc, make sure there are no scratch marks on the disc. This can make a disc unrecognizable.

    We always recommend here that you send it to Microsoft Service center. We do not really support here self-repairs because that's risky.
