Why isnt my party working?

1. Check that your PC is updated to the latest version of Windows. You can check the version of Windows on your PC by going to Settings > System > About. If your PC is not updated, you can update it manually.

2. Check that your Xbox app is updated to the latest version. You can check the version of the application by going to the App Store or Google Play. If the app is not updated, you can update it manually.

3. Disable two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA can interfere with group chat in some cases. To turn off 2FA, go to Settings > Security > Two-Step Verification.

I'm sorry to see any issues with Party chat! Even though you can hear people, it's still likely that your headset is failing. Do you have another controller that you can test the headset on? Let me know if you are able to do that.

Before we proceed any further, we would like to set your proper expectation that Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for all content. The game or app publisher must enable this feature for their content.

To make sure that the said game support the use of mouse in their game, submit a ticket to the game developer support team through this link: Submit a request – Fatshark.

You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

If you have made sure that they're all set up correctly and you're on an Xbox console, make sure that you also have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.
