    I have an Xbox series s and captian 4000 headset and they won't connect when I try either method in the manual. I looked at the website and didn't find any help

    Xbox 360 series controller

    For xbox one controllers and xbox series controllers

    by bluetooth if your pc has this (does not support audio passthrough so no headest support via controller).

    by wire (this supports audio passthough for headsets via controller)

    by purchasing the xbox wireless adapter for pc (this supports audio passthough for headsets via controller)

    There is nothing interfering with my connection via computer and wire. Its when i hook the wire up to my xbox it disconnects even wireless

    Are you connected via wired or wireless? If wireless, please try connecting via wired.

    Why don't you try downloading it with a wired connection? Maybe your wireless connection isn't strong enough.

    My xbox one keeps restarting!

    So I went ahead and took Genesis1953's advice and connected to a wired connection. Low and behold...It works! My xbox one does not restart. I tried connecting to my wireless connection while still connected thru the wired but unfortunately as soon as I got
    to the step of disconnecting the wire my xbox restarted. Any answers as to why my wireless connection is causing my xbox to react this way? It just sucks that now I'm not able to use the wireless connect option. But a big Thanks to you Genesis1953 for the
    useful suggestion!!
